Buying at Auction

RINGSIDE

Ringside bidding is the most popular way for people to purchase at our Horse & Pony Sales. All buyers must collect a buyers number from the office upon arrival.  If you’re successful in your bid please visit the office to settle your account and collect paperwork.

ONLINE

We use the online sales platform MartEye as our form of online bidding & livestreaming for our equine sales both at Brecon Market & Worcester Market. Our Conditions of Sale are also applicable to online buyers.

If you wish to view the livestream, you are not required to register an account with MartEye. Therefore, personal or card details will not be required to view the livestream.

In order to register to bid, you will be required to place a £750 holding deposit with a card. This deposit will be held by McCartneys LLP and will be released within 7 working days. Please note, this deposit cannot be used against any purchases. If you do not pay this deposit, you will be unable to bid online.

If you wish to be a potential online bidder, registration for the deposit will open the day before the sale until 10am on the day of sale. Therefore, all potential online buyers must ONLY register the day before the sale (Friday) – NO EARLIER.

You will be required to re-register your card details and deposit for each sale.
