McCartneys Horse and Pony Department has been in existence for many years, originally through its sales at Brecon Market. The department has grown significantly over recent years with regular monthly sales in Brecon Market attracting around 200 entries from all sections.

The sales calendar includes sales at Worcester Market which run from April to September and also includes a saddlery auction.

The company are appointed as official auctioneers for the Welsh Pony and Cob Society with the sale at the Royal Welsh Showground in October attracting 500-600 entries and the Shetland Stud Book Society show and sale at Worcester Market attracts around 300 entries.

We also offer services including Stud Dispersals, Reduction Sales, Insurance Valuations, Disputes and General Sales.
