McCartneys Horse and Pony Department has been in existence for many years, originally through its sales at Brecon Market. The department has grown significantly over recent years with regular monthly sales in Brecon Market attracting around 200 entries from all sections.

This year we have enhanced the sales calendar with the commencement of sales at Worcester Market which will run from April to September and will include a saddlery auction.

The company are appointed as official auctioneers for the Welsh Pony and Cob Society as well as the British Connemara Society, The Shetland Stud Book Society, The Standardbred & Trotting Horse Association of Great Britain and The Hackney Horse Society, most of which we hold spring and autumn sales for.

The Official WPCS sale on the Royal Welsh Showground in October attracts 600-700 entries over three days, the final day also hosts sales from other breed societies.

We also offer services including Stud Dispersals, Reduction Sales, Insurance Valuations, Disputes and General Sales.
